Please join us on Friday, November 16th, in room 172 at lunch, when Peace Club will present guest speaker Desiree Angelo, president of Revolution Youth! San Francisco, a youth activist group comprising many colleges around the Bay Area. She will be talking about the importance of youth activism and a number of opportunities for being active during college and beyond, as well as answering your questions.
I would like to add that we are very fortunate to be able to have a guest speaker visit us to speak at one of our meetings, and so I would especially like to ask Peace Club members to make it a priority to be there, and please bring a friend. It’s very embarrassing when we ask someone to take the time to come and then we only have a few people there, so hopefully you can join us.
