Tune In to Bill Moyers’ New Documentary!

The marketing of the war in Iraq by the administration has been much examined, but a critical question remains: How and why did the press buy it? The new Bill Moyers Journal premieres with a documentary that explores the role of the press in the lead-up to the invasion of Iraq, which includes interviews with Dan Rather, formerly of CBS; Tim Russert of Meet the Press; Bob Simon of 60 Minutes; Walter Isaacson, former president of CNN; and John Walcott, Jonathan Landay and Warren Strobel of Knight Ridder newspapers, acquired by The McClatchy Company in 2006.

Bill Moyers’ new documentary, Buying the War will be airing tomorrow night on PBS, 9:00-10:30 PM. (KQED Channel 9 will be carrying it here in the Bay Area.) Please, take the opportunity to watch this important documentary! Remember to pass along the word. ;)
