Thanks to everyone who helped out this week with our Cards for Soldiers tabling…we’ve accumulated almost 100 letters so far (and some more will be coming in on Monday)!
We will be having a meeting on Monday 12/11, at lunch in room 172. The only item on the agenda: Envelope stuffing! That’s right, now that we have these cards, we need people to come and stuff them into envelopes so that I can have them in the mail Monday night (last chance deadline to get the cards overseas by Christmas). Before that scares you off, I will be bringing some of my award-winning* chocolate chip cookies just for the envelope stuffers!
So, if you have a free lunch period, please come by, help stuff some envelopes, and eat some cookies! See you tomorrow.

*Yes, my cookies did win 1st place in a special contest at the San Mateo County Fair, and they are the only dessert in recent history to have been known to disappear before the end of a PTA meeting. ![]()
